Chemfree Vamax is a Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhizal (VAM) formulation that contains spores of endo ectomycorrhizae and fragments of fungal filaments. Chemfree Vamax by associating symbiotically with the root of the crops helps in greater absorption especially phosphorous, water, and other important macro and essential microelements, and makes them available to the crop. Chemfree Vamax is a Vesicular Arbuscular Mycorrhiza Fungi (VAM) in Granular (G) formulation which contains 100% infective propagules per gram of the product. On application to the crop in the root zone, fungal spores germinate, and micro-filaments get attached to the crop roots and support the crop to have all available nutrients and water from the soil ultimately resulting in growth, quality produce, and yield. Vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhiza (VAM) is formed by the symbiotic association between certain phycomycetous fungi and angiosperm roots. The fungus colonizes the root cortex forming a mycelial network and characteristic vesicles (bladder-like structures) and arbuscules (branched finger-like hyphae).
